Remove Your Record
Pardon
Simply put, a pardon is the Canadian government’s way of saying that you have paid your debt to society, and that justice has been served. Now, you deserve a fresh start that is free from discrimination. In other words, you should have the same opportunities to get a job, travel, adopt and volunteer as any other Canadian.
Legally speaking, if you were convicted of a criminal offence, a pardon will seal your record. “Sealed” means that your record will no longer be accessible and that it will be kept separate from all other criminal records.
- Pardon Services Canada guarantees that you will get a pardon. In the rare cases in which we are not successful, we offer a full refund. When your criminal pardon is granted, you will receive an official confirmation from the Clemency and Pardons division of the National Parole Board.
- An estimated 55% of applications for a pardon filed directly by individuals without assistance are rejected or returned as incomplete or ineligible. Without our assistance, the process can be time-consuming, difficult and lengthy. Pardon Services Canada has an over 99% success rate.
