Eligibility for Waiver

The US Waiver has no eligibility requirements or waiting period. Each case is adjudicated on an individual basis. The primary factors considered in the granting of a US Waiver are:

1. The risk of harm to the United States and its population;
2. The nature of your offence(s);
3. Your reasons for entering the United States

Obtaining the documentation in support of an US Entry Waiver application takes several months. It is suggested that the application process is initiated at least one year prior to the proposed entry date.
